This is my absolute favorite smoothie ever. It tastes like junk food. Sometimes, when I make this smoothie for breakfast, I feel so guilty drinking it, like, what am I doing drinking ice cream in the morning. But then I remind my self that God is a genius, and he made some combinations of really healthy food, tastes exactly like junk food. (although in my opinion, this recipe tastes waaay better than any regular chocolate milk shake). But that’s just my opinion, I dare you to try out this recipe and see for your self. >:) <— evil smiley face.
And those mint leaves– they give such a refreshing flavor to the dark/spiced, cacao and cinnamon. I truly think its the mint leaves that make this awesomesauce “milkshake” recipe. That, and the almond butter. Oh, the almond butter.

And yet–all of these ingredients are super healthy for you. It’s like your Grandma finally figured out how to make you eat your vegetables.
-bananas: tons of vitamins and minerals including potassium and vitamin b6
-dates: high soluble fiber levels = helps with digestion. plus, very natural sweetener. who needs sugar?
–almond butter: tons of protein and calcium
cacao powder: magnesium, iron, zinc, tons of vitamins that start with B,
When you drink this fake junk food, you consume all of these scientifically healthy stuff- AND YOU DON’T EVEN FEEL IT- what a beautiful world we live in. I mean, you can’t even see those spinach leaves, yet they are there, you are drinking them. Its like magic!
